Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how IQPartner ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the IQPartner mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use IQPartner:
- Account Information: Full name, username, email address, phone number, and password (encrypted)
- Profile Information: Profile photo, bio, achievements, level, and XP progress
- User Content: Videos, images, posts, and comments you create or upload
- Messages: Direct messages sent between users, including messages sent using Disappearing Chat
- Voice Room Activity: Participation in 1v1, 2v2, and Group voice rooms, and completion status of required educational videos
- Coins & Earnings: Coin balance, earning history, coin-to-money conversion, and withdrawal records
- Payment Data: Transaction records processed through Razorpay (we do not store your card/bank details)
- Job Feature Data: Job posts you create and job applications you submit
- Location Data: Collected only with your permission, for Premium location-sharing features
- Notifications: Likes, comments, follows, allies, and crew activity on your account
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interactions within the App
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Authentication Data: OTP codes used for password reset (temporary, auto-deleted)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- To create, verify, and manage your user account
- To display your content, achievements, and profile to other users
- To enable direct messaging, Disappearing Chat, and social interactions
- To unlock Voice Rooms after required educational video milestones are completed
- To calculate coin earnings, process coin-to-money conversion, and handle withdrawal requests
- To process payments and withdrawals securely through Razorpay
- To enable job posting and one-click job applications
- To enable Premium features such as location sharing and advanced search
- To send OTP emails for password reset and account verification
- To send push notifications about activity on your account
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and policy violations
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations
3. Voice Rooms & Educational Requirement
Access to 1v1, 2v2, and Group Voice Rooms is unlocked only after a user completes 10 educational videos within the App. We track completion progress solely to manage feature access and do not use this data for any other purpose.
4. Coins, Earnings & Withdrawals
Users can earn coins through in-app activity, which can be converted into real money. Withdrawal requests are typically processed within 24 hours, subject to verification checks and Razorpay's standard processing timelines. Earning and withdrawal history is retained for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes.
5. Data Storage and Infrastructure
Your data is stored and processed using the following trusted third-party services:
- DB Supabase & Neon: User accounts, posts, messages, comments, notifications, and all app database records
- MEDIA Cloudflare: Videos, images, profile photos, and all media files uploaded by users
- SERVER Render: Application server hosting and backend infrastructure
- PAY Razorpay: Payment processing and coin withdrawals
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing and are never stored in plain text.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Your information may be shared only in these limited cases:
- With other users: Your public profile, posts, achievements, and comments are visible to other users of the App
- Job Feature: When you apply to a job, your relevant profile details are shared with the job poster
- Payment Processing: Transaction data is shared with Razorpay solely to process payments and withdrawals
- For legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or to protect user safety
- Business transfer: In case of merger or acquisition, with prior notice to users
7. User-Generated Content
Content you upload (videos, images, posts) may be visible to other users, and can be downloaded, saved, or shared through in-app options subject to platform guidelines. You retain ownership of your content. By uploading, you grant IQPartner a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the App.
For platform integrity and safety compliance, uploaded videos are retained by the company as backup even if removed from public view, unless deletion is legally required. Reported content is automatically hidden from the reporting user for 2 hours while under review.
8. Direct Messages & Disappearing Chat
Direct messages between users are stored securely in our database. Our optional Disappearing Chat feature removes messages from both the sender's and receiver's devices once viewed or after a set time; once deleted, these messages generally cannot be recovered, except where retained temporarily for safety or legal compliance purposes. We do not read private messages unless required for safety investigations or legal compliance.
9. Data Retention
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active
- OTP tokens are automatically deleted after use or after 10 minutes
- Deleted posts and non-disappearing messages are permanently removed from our servers upon your request
- Video content is retained on backup servers per Section 7, even after removal from public view
- You may request full account deletion at any time by contacting us
10. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of data we hold about you
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Objection: Object to certain types of data processing
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time without affecting past processing

11. Children's Privacy
IQPartner is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will immediately delete their data. Parents or guardians who believe their child has registered should contact us immediately.
12. Security Measures
We implement the following security practices to protect your data:
- All passwords are hashed using bcrypt encryption
- All data transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Secure session management with server-side sessions
- Payment data handled by PCI-DSS compliant partner (Razorpay)
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
- Access to user data is strictly limited to authorized systems
13. Cookies and Local Storage
The App uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. Session data is cleared when you log out.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Post the updated policy in the App
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top
- Notify users via email or in-app notification for major changes
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
16. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by applicable data protection laws. We are committed to complying with GDPR (for EU users), CCPA (for California users), and other applicable privacy regulations.
